Come Help Break the World Record for Largest Water Balloon Fight

waterballoon 300LEXINGTON, Ky (9/3/2013)—On Aug. 27, 2011 the University of Kentucky’s Christian Student Fellowship made the Guinness Book Of World Records when 8,957 people participated in throwing 175,141 water balloons during the fight. They have won the world record for the past five years.

This year CSF invites everyone to join in on breaking the record at Johnson Center Field Friday, Sept. 6, at 11:55 p.m. With 250,000 water balloons to fill and 12,000 people expected to join, the University of Kentucky is set out to have the largest water balloon fight on record.

The students involved in CSF on UK’s campus spend months preparing for the night.

If you aren’t convinced to join just yet, check out the video from last year’s event.
