LEXINGTON, Ky (9/17/2013)—Tired of making a to do list and spending more time writing it out than actually finishing what you need to accomplish? The new iPhone app Carrot is an app with feelings, eager to see you accomplish the things you need to get done.
The app has two personalities. If you succeed and finish all of the things on your list, the happy Carrot will reward you and shower you with compliments. If you neglect your to do list and do not accomplish what you need to get done, the angry Carrot will hate you simply because you exist. The tasks you complete will give you the opportunity to collect the more points, and with points you can get virtual rewards. It’s an app to assist you with your daily to do list, with added ‘relationship issues.’
The app is priced at $1, which isn’t bad for the fun you can have while getting what you need to do done. The app also has trigger words, so if you happen to put exercise on your list, Carrot tempts you and tells you to eat brownies. The mood of the Carrot determines on how productive you are at getting your daily list done. You’ll find yourself not wanting to upset the Carrot and finishing your list quickly and efficiently.
