The Watering Hole: Can You Survive Survivor’s?

survivor 300LEXINGTON, Ky. (10/3/13)—It was ladies night and just like the weeks before, we found ourselves trying to figure out which bar we wanted to go to. We wanted something low key, with good music, great drink prices and enough room to do a little dancing. We were looking for something new, and we were set out to have fun.

Walking into the front door of Survivor’s Bar and Grill, the first thing I saw was a sign that said “Enter as strangers, leave as friends.” I immediately knew we had made a good choice.

Looking around the bar I saw a variety of different people. People of all ages were mingling together, making new friends and dancing like there wasn’t a worry in the world. The bartenders were not only welcoming, but made the best Long Island Iced Tea I think I have ever had. By the end of the night I had beat an older couple in pool and danced with a friend to the sound of someone singing karaoke, and when I left at the end of the night, there wasn’t a stranger to me in that bar.

“There was good drinks, good music, and great people,” said Jamee Adkins, a first time Survivor’s patron. “We had so much fun and the night was full of laughter. It is definitely on the top of my list to go to back soon.”

Located at 161 East Reynolds Road, Survivor’s offers drink and food specials throughout the week. When the sun goes down, that’s when the fun begins. If you are looking for a bar with great drink prices, a fun atmosphere, and a variety of people, Survivors Bar and Grill is the bar for you this weekend.
