Hopkins County Tourist & Convention Commission Honored

tourism award 300HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (11/18/13) - The Hopkins County Tourist & Convention Commission received recognition during the Kentucky Travel Industry Association Fall Conference held recently in Louisville, Kentucky.  The Traverse Awards are presented to honor the talent, creativity and effectiveness in marketing and public relations among the members of the association.  The Tourism Commission received a first place for their Visitors Guide and a second place in the new website category for their mobile website.

Tricia Noel, Executive Director of the Hopkins County Tourist & Convention Commission, stated, "There were over 300 entries for Traverse Awards and we are very pleased to be among those recognized for our marketing efforts in trying to attract visitors to our county."
