Outdoors with Big Country — A Big Country Christmas

outdoors with big country 300KENTUCKY (12/20/13) — It's every little boy's and little girl's dream of a white Christmas. Experiencing the outdoors with your dad or granddad during a cold day out hunting has made many of memories for several youngsters.

It's been a family tradition to go out and hunt for rabbit and listening to the dogs bark and chase those cottontails or setting in a duck and goose blind calling in waterfowl over your decoys and having the thrill of the day to spend it with friends and family.

Many of Folks have woke up to country ham, biscuits and gravy for breakfast and after a good pot of coffee is drank, after all the sharing and gift giving has been enjoyed, several folks take to the field to make Christmas Day a tradition to spend in the outdoors.

Anyone having a family member or friend that you're needing to give a gift to for Christmas, this should be an easy task. All outdoorsmen and women would much rather open their Christmas gift of ... a new buck knife, a new UnderArmor hoodie, a new fishing reel, a new pair of binoculars, a new firearm, a new duck call ... and the list goes on.

It's easy to give a gift to an outdoorsmen, just go to your local sporting goods store and take your pick of any item that's new.

Spending time with family and friends during the Christmas holidays time in the outdoors is a memorable experience for many. Let's always take time to remember the reason for the season.

I hope that each and everyone have a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year in 2014.

Whatever is your hunt .... good luck and best wishes from Big Country.
