accident injuries ambulance 300PADUCAH, KY (2/20/12) – On Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, at approximately 2:00 PM, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to the 2200 block of Oaks Road for a reported single-vehicle accident.

Upon arrival it was found that 35-year-old Missy Sisson of Calvert City was operating her 2004 Chevrolet SUV northbound on Oaks Road. The investigation showed that Sisson briefly ran off the roadway and attempted to correct. Sisson then overcorrected and lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle then flipped to its side and slid to the side of the roadway into a ditch. Sisson was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for apparent minor injuries.

The roadway was closed for approximately 30 minutes while cleanup crews cleared the area.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by Mercy Regional Ambulance Service and the Reidland Fire Department.
