PADUCAH, KY (3/27/12) – On Monday, March 26, at approximately 4:46 PM, a passenger car driven by 20-year-old Paigelyn Hodge of Paducah, with three passengers, was involved in an accident resulting in injuries.
According to McCracken County Sheriff’s officials, Hodge was southbound on Maxon Road when 22-year-old Mathew Chenier of Wickliffe was westbound in his passenger car on HWY 60 West. Hodge was attempting to crass HWY 60 when she collided with Chenier’s vehicle.
Hodge and passengers were transported by Mercy EMS to Western Baptist Hospital for treatment of injuries.
Officials have stated that alcohol was a factor in the accident and Hodge was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence and Possession of Open Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle.
Members of the Concord Fire Department assisted at the scene of the accident.
