The operator of the Toyota Solara, 45-year-old Melissa Yarbrough, had to be extricated from the vehicle by mechanical means and was transported to an area hospital for treatment of her injuries from the collision

The Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by Lone Oak and Concord Fire Department’s, Mercy Regional Ambulance Service, and Meadow’s and Vanzant’s Towing to clean up the scene.

Traffic was slowed for approximately one hour while the scene was investigated.
