PADUCAH, KY (3/30/12) - On March 29, 2012, detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff's Department Drug Division began an investigation into the illegal sale of prescription pain medication by James "Bo" Tucker.
During the course of the investigation, Detectives with the drug division were able to make controlled pill purchases from Tucker. A subsequent investigation revealed additional pill transactions on March 29, 2012, within McCracken County that also involved John Tucker.
During the investigation, Detectives learned that John Tucker was wanted on three bench warrants in McCracken County.
Later in the afternoon of March 29, 2012, detectives observed Tucker driving with John Tucker. Detectives, along with officers from the Paducah Police Department, approached both individuals and took them into custody on the parking lot of a Paducah business located at 2300 North 8th Street in Paducah, at approximately 3:31pm.
A quantity of three different types of prescription pain medication (Suboxone, Dilaudid and Morphine) was located during a search after the arrests. An amount of US currency was also located which was believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales. The money was seized. Detectives also seized James Tucker's Chevy truck.
At the time of his arrest, James Tucker was out on bond in McCracken County for Unlawful Distribution of a Meth precursor.
James and John Tucker were both lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
