Paducah Man Arrested on Drug Possession Charges

jonas arrestPADUCAH, KY (4/5/12) - On April 4, 2012 at approximately 10:24 PM, McCracken County Sheriff’s Deputies observed a suspicious vehicle in the area of Clayton Homes on US 60W.
 
Upon further investigation Deputies identified the driver as Joseph D. Alonso, 33, of Paducah. During a search of the vehicle Deputies discovered several prescription drugs hidden in the center console. Further investigation determined the pills found were Percocet and Suboxone, both of which Alonso did not have a prescription for.
 
Alonso was then placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance and lodged at the McCracken County Jail.
 
Charges:
Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, a class D felony
Possession of a Controlled Substance, 2nd Degree, a class A misdemeanor
