Rollover Accident on US HWY 60

rollover accident 300PADUCAH, KY (4/9/12) – On Saturday, April 7, 2012 at approximately 11:35 AM, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department received a call for a rollover injury accident on US HWY 60 at Fisher Road.

Upon arrival, deputies found that Henry R. Ford, 72-years-old of Bardwell, was operating a grey 1976 Chevrolet Silverado, eastbound on Cairo Road. Ford failed to stop at a red light and swerved to avoid a collision, losing control of his vehicle. The vehicle left the roadway on the west side, struck a ditch and flipped twice before eventually turning upright.

Ford and a passenger, Mr. Donald Ford, 58, of Bardwell, were treated on the scene and transported to Lourdes Hospital for non-life threatening injuries by Mercy Regional EMS. The roadway was closed for approximately 1 hour for the investigation and the clean-up of the collision.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department was assisted on scene by Mercy Regional EM, and the West Paducah Fire Department.
