Farley Woman Arrested on Local Warrant

blankenship arrestPADUCAH, KY (4/23/12) – On April 22, 2012 at 8:00 PM, Deputies located Evelyn Renee Blankenship, 35 years of age, at her residence in Farley. Blankenship was arrested on a McCracken County warrant charging her with Criminal Mischief 1st Degree and Leaving the scene of an accident.

The charges stem from an incident on April 16, in which Blankenship lost control of her vehicle on Susan Lane, left the roadway, and struck a power transformer vault in the front yard of 135 Susan Lane. The transformer vault, belonging to Paducah Power Systems, was heavily damaged and power to the area was down for several hours. After striking the transformer vault, Blankenship fled the area in her vehicle. The vehicle was located a short time later, and Deputies obtained a warrant for Blankenship’s arrest

Blankenship was arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
