Wickliffe Man Injured in Accident on Ogden Landing Road

traf acc w inj300PADUCAH, KY (4/26/12) – At 3:24 pm on Wednesday, April 25, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 10200 Block of Ogden Landing Road for an alleged single-vehicle accident with injuries.
 
Once on the scene, Sheriff’s Deputies found that 34-year-old Shawn P. Ice, of Wickliffe, KY was traveling eastbound on Ogden Landing Road approaching the 10200 block operating a yellow and red 1992 GMC grain truck full of soy beans. For unknown reasons Ice lost control of the vehicle, rolling over once before coming to rest in a nearby ditch.
 
The roadway was closed for approximately 45 minutes for crews to clean up the spilled soy beans.
 
Ice was then transported to the hospital for apparent minor injuries.
 
West McCracken Fire Department, Mercy Ambulance Services and DES assisted Deputies at the scene.
