Two Vehicle Collision on US HWY 60 at Kelly Road Injures Three

traf acc w inj300PADUCAH, KY (5/6/12) - At Approximately 12:00 Noon today, Friday, May 3, 2012, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Dept., Concord FD, West McCracken FD and Mercy Regional Ambulance were dispatched to US HWY 60 and Kelly Road for a reported two-vehicle collision with injuries.
 
Once on the scene, Deputies found that 66-year-old Larry Morris of Lovelaceville was operating a White 1994 GMC Pickup Southbound on Kelly Road, attempting to cross US 60. Morris’s vehicle crossed in front of, and was struck by, a White 2007 Chrysler van operated by 83-year-old Thomas Turner and 85-year-old passenger Edoenna Turner, both of La Center, who was Eastbound on US 60. Both vehicles went off the right shoulder after colliding and collided with signposts and a culvert head wall.
 
All three involved persons were transported by Mercy Ambulance Service to a local Hospital for non-life threatening/possible injuries.
 
The outside, Eastbound lane of US 60 was restricted for approximately one hour to facilitate emergency responders and clean up.
