Paducah Woman Arrested on Meth Charges

meth arrest mccracken 300PADUCAH, KY (5/14/12) – On Friday, May 11, Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff's Department Drug Division executed a search warrant on Adams Street in Paducah and arrested a Paducah woman on various drug offenses.

Detectives began an investigation after receiving information that illegal drug activity was occurring at 2925 Adams Street in Paducah. The investigation led to them obtaining and executing a search warrant at the residence on Friday afternoon at approximately 5:30 pm.
 
Detectives located Kimberly Via at the residence. During a search of Via's Ford pickup truck, Detectives located and seized a methamphetamine smoking pipe, a bag of crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, digital scales, a false Pepsi can where drugs had been stored and other items of drug paraphernalia.

During a search of the residence detectives also seized an additional amount of marijuana and other assorted drug paraphernalia.
 
McCracken County K-9 Deputy Steve Croft and K-9 Pepo assisted in the search.
 
Kimberly Via was arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
