Charity League of Paducah Raised $35,000 for Easter Seals West Kentucky

PADUCAH, KY (5/18/12) - The Charity League of Paducah presented a check for $35,000 to Danny Carroll, President/CEO of Easter Seals West Kentucky at their Annual Spring Banquet.
 
Easter Seals West Kentucky is a local non-profit dedicated to providing quality services to children and adults with special needs.
 
Proceeds were raised from the Charity League’s Bargain Fair held in March 2012 smashing all previous Bargain Fair records. Charity League will be donating $10,000 of its proceeds to the Community Foundation’s annual Fred Paxton Fund Run event that will come back to Easter Seals West Kentucky with a dollar for dollar match up to $10,000.
 
Easter Seals West Kentucky represents nearly half a century of helping people with special needs gain greater independence by providing quality services. Begun in 1954 through the merger of the McCracken County Cerebral Palsy Organization and the Crippled Children's Clinic, Easter Seals West Kentucky serves 19 counties in western Kentucky, plus areas in southern Illinois and southeastern Missouri.
