ARREST BICKER HALLPADUCAH, KY (5/24/12) – The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department conducted an investigation on May 23, 2012 that led to the execution of a search warrant at a Paducah residence and arrests of a Paducah couple on Marijuana related offenses.

Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department Drug Division began an investigation after receiving information alleging that Ray Bickerstaff Jr. and Megan Hall, both of Paducah, were involved in the distribution of Marijuana in Paducah.

As part of the investigation, Detectives obtained a search warrant for the couple’s residence. The search warrant was executed on Wednesday night at approximately 11:00 PM.  Detectives located Bickerstaff and Hall at the residence when the search warrant was executed.

Detectives searched the residence and seized approximately eight pounds of high quality Marijuana packaged for sell, digital scales, plastic baggies and other assorted items of drug paraphernalia.  In addition to the Marijuana, detectives seized $5,324 in US currency, believed to proceeds from illegal drug sales.  The seized marijuana has an estimated street value of more than $12,000.

Both Bickerstaff and Hall were arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

The Sheriff’s Department was assisted by agents with the bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) with this investigation.

The investigation is continuing and additional arrests are likely.
