healthfair 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (3/28/13) – Heather Johnson, PharmD, and Amy Cox, Home Medical Equipment Specialist from Poole’s Pharmacy Care in Livermore participated in the annual McLean County Health and Safety Fair on March 16 at the McLean County High School.

This year, the Pooles Pharmacy Care booth focused on Aids to Daily Living. These products make daily activities easier as well as safer for the elderly and handicapped.

Along with these products the exhibit had samples of other medical equipment offered by Poole’s Pharmacy Care. Visitors to the booth received samples of the Skinscriptives line of custom compounded face and eye creams as well as coupons and brochures for products found in Poole’s stores.

“We had a great turn out this year and look forward to the next annual Health and Safety Fair,” said Bob Wedding, of Poole’s Pharmacy.

For those 18 and over, there was a “Get up and Move” campaign. While at the Health and Safety fair individuals could wear a pedometer, and those individuals who walked a minimum of 500 steps were entered to win a Nintendo Wii.
