PADUCAH, Ky. (4/5/13) – On April 3, 2013 detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department completed a short investigation into the trafficking of marijuana by a Farley area man.
On Wednesday morning, deputies and detectives executed a search warrant at 3624 Benton Road Paducah, KY. Three adults and three juveniles were located inside the residence. Upon entering, marijuana was immediately located.
Twenty year old Ahmad Perry and nineteen year old Akeem Perry were both located with marijuana in their possession. During a search of the residence, more marijuana, proceeds from illegal drug sales, and evidence of the sale of illegal drugs were located.
Three juvenile children were released to family members and the Perry brothers were arrested and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail. Ahmad Perry was charged with four counts of Trafficking Marijuana as well as one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Akeem Perry was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
More charges are possible due to the items located during the search of the residence.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Office and the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force assisted in the investigation.
