bonnie 300PADUCAH, Ky. (4/11/13) – Bonnie Schrock, vice president and chief administrative officer at Baptist Health Paducah, is one of 59 Kentucky leaders selected for the 2013 class of Leadership Kentucky.
 
Leadership Kentucky, created in 1984 as a non-profit educational organization, brings together Kentuckians with leadership abilities, career accomplishments and volunteer activities to gain insight into complex issues facing the state.
 
A former news anchor and health reporter for WPSD, Schrock has been at the hospital since 1992, first as marketing director and a vice president since 2000. She serves as a board member on the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce, the West Kentucky Regional Chamber Alliance Board of Directors and the Community Foundation of West Kentucky.
 
Previous volunteer efforts include past fundraising chair for the Kentucky Cancer Consortium, past co-chair of the Western Region March of Dimes WalkAmerica, coach/mentor of the Kentucky affiliate of American College of Healthcare Executives and the Paducah-McCracken County United Way board.
 
She was one of three finalists in 2011 for the Martha Layne Collins Leadership Award from Women Leading Kentucky.
 
Schrock is trained as a team leader with Living Waters for the World, a faith-based not-for-profit organization that helps underdeveloped countries with clean water initiatives.
 
A graduate of Murray State University, she has an MBA from the University of Phoenix and is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
 
Schrock is the hospital’s third consecutive participant in Leadership Kentucky following Michael Muscarella, director of rehabilitation services, in 2011; and Dona Rains, director of marketing and planning, in 2012.
