Central City BPW Club Honors Three Women

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (4/22/13) – The Central City Business and Professional Women's Club held the "Celebration of Service,” honoring three new additions to the Kentucky Women's Hall Of Fame.

The ceremony began on Sunday, April 21st at 2 p.m., inside the Central City Public Library.

The Kentucky BPW honored Kentucky women who have made a significant contribution to the quality of life in their communities, the state and the world.

2013 honorees included Alma Randalph, of the Alma Randolph Charitable Foundation.

Also honored was Madisonville Community College President Dr. Judith Rhoads.

From Hopkinsville, New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, Teresa Medeiros was also inducted.

The Kentucky Women’s Hall of Fame was established in 1982, so far honoring over 20 women, including Kentucky's first woman governor, first woman sheriff, female authors, educators, musicians and more.

The KY Women's Hall of Fame, Inc. is located at 108 East Broad Street.
