Two Hospitalized in Single-Vehicle Accident

accident w injuries redPADUCAH, Ky. (4/29/13) – On April 28, 2013, at approximately 5:30 PM, McCracken County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident at the intersection of Harris Road and Mckendree Church Road.
 
Once on the scene, Deputies found that Justin Farver, 34, of Wickliffe, for unknown reasons, after making a right hand turn onto Mckendree Church Road from Harris Road, drove his 1999 GMC Suburban up the embankment, causing the vehicle to overturn onto Mckendree Church Rd.
 
Investigation showed Farver was under the influence of Alcohol at the time of the accident. His passenger, James Stokes, 36, also of Wickliffe, and Farver, were both transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
 
Deputies were assisted on scene by Mercy EMS and Concord Fire Department.
 
Due to his injuries, Farver was cited for DUI 1st and open container, and then released to the care of the hospital.
