Paducah Resident Arrested for Cocaine Trafficking

arrest penningtonPADUCAH, Ky. (5/2/13) – On Wednesday, May 1, 2013, Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Paducah man for Cocaine trafficking.
 
During the month of April, Detectives received information regarding Robert Pennington selling quantities of Cocaine. Detectives conducted an investigation that involved making a Cocaine purchase from Pennington.
 
On April 1, Detectives observed Pennington operating a vehicle in the 600 block of South 9th Street. Pennington was arrested at 5:00 PM, after his vehicle was stopped. Detectives seized an undisclosed amount of US currency from Pennington that was believed to proceeds of illegal drugs. During a search of Pennington, evidence of trafficking in cocaine was also found. Pennington’s vehicle was seized due to it being used in the trafficking of cocaine.
 
Pennington was on felony probation at the time of his arrest for Trafficking in Cocaine.
 
Pennington was lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
