Man Holds Sister at Gunpoint

assault arrest 300CARLISLE COUNTY, Ky. (5/27/13) – On May 26, 2013 at approximately 3:00 PM, Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 1 received a call of a domestic argument on County Road 1210 in Carlisle County.
 
Upon troopers’ arrival, the investigation revealed that Brady Ray had gotten into a verbal domestic with his sister. He left the scene and returned a short time later with a rifle and held her at gunpoint for some time. He left again before troopers arrived on the scene.
 
The female was taken to a safe location and troopers began to search the area for Ray. He was located at his residence nearby and was arrested without incident. Ray was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Burglary 1st degree, Kidnapping, Wanton Endangerment 1st degree, and Assault 4th degree Domestic Violence.
 
Ray was taken to Baptist Health Paducah to be cleared for a previous medical condition. He was later taken to the Hickman County Jail.
 
The investigation continues by Trooper Richard Wright.
