On arrival, investigation showed that 60-year-old Deborah Collier of Paducah, KY, was operating a 2007 Buick Rendevous westbound on Hendron Road when her vehicle left the roadway. Further investigation showed that Mrs. Collier had an unknown distraction and left the westbound side of the roadway and struck a 25 mph speed limit sign along with a mailbox. Collier then crossed the roadway and exited into a wooded area on the eastbound lane where she came to rest approximately 20 yards off the roadway.

Collier received minor injuries and was transported by Mercy EMS to Lourdes Hospital. Speedy’s Towing and Hendron Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Traffic was slowed to one lane and blocked for a brief period to remove the vehicle.
