The full board will have the opportunity to meet in person, hear presentations and ask questions in a forum style setting of the final list of several recommended candidates. Current EDC President/CEO Nick Brake will become the Superintendent of the Owensboro Public Schools in July.

In the interim period, Madison Silvert, the current Executive Vice President of the EDC, will step in as acting CEO until a new President is named.
