PADUCAH, Ky. (7/12/13) – Three local men were arrested on drug charges during the afternoon of July 11, 2013 by the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department Drug Unit.
Detectives observed Daniel Clayton, of Kevil, KY, driving on Schneidman Road with his leg hanging outside of the door and violating other traffic laws. Upon stopping Clayton, detectives learned that he did not have a valid license. Detectives also observed that Clayton was holding methamphetamine, a syringe loaded with methamphetamine, and meth smoking pipes in his hand. Clayton has a previous manufacturing methamphetamine conviction and is currently out of jail on bond for felony Receiving Stolen Property and Fleeing or Evading Police. He was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail for various traffic offenses as well as Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
In following up with Clayton’s arrest, detectives spoke with Harry and Harold Mason, both of Paducah. During a search of their residence, detectives located methamphetamine paraphernalia and a small amount of methamphetamine. Harry Mason, 48 years old, and Harold Mason, 55 years old, were both lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
