Four-Vehicle Injury Accident on Clarks River Road

Accident Injury 01 green 300PADUCAH, Ky. (8/22/13) – At approximately 7:37 a.m. on August 22, 2013, Sheriff Deputies responded to a four-vehicle injury accident at 4033 Clarks River Road.

Investigation showed 40-year-old Marcy Turner of Paducah was traveling West in her 2000 Chrysler. Turner failed to notice traffic had stopped, due to the construction zone ahead. Turner attempted to stop, but collided with a 2012 Nissan Altima, driven by 25-year-old Michelle Farthing of Paducah. The impact caused Farthing’s vehicle to collide with a 2006 Mercury Milan, driven by 63-year-old Cynthia Frazier of Paducah. This impact pushed Milan’s vehicle forward causing it to collide with a 2011 Chrysler Town and Country, driven by 57-year-old Terri Bailey of Calvert City.

All four drivers were transported to local hospitals for non-life threatening injuries.

McCracken County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Reidland Fire Department, Randy’s Towing and Mercy Regional Ambulance Service.

This portion of Clarks River Road was limited to one lane for approximately 45 minutes.
