Single-Vehicle Accident on Houser Road with Injuries

Accident Injury 01 red 300PADUCAH, Ky. (8/26/13) – At approximately 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 24, McCracken County Sheriff Department responded to a single vehicle injury accident at 6555 Houser Road.
 
Once on scene, Deputies found that Keely Thompson, 17, of Paducah, was traveling northbound on Houser Road in her 1998 Buick Century. Investigation showed that Thompson’s vehicle dropped off the right shoulder and she was unable to regain control. The vehicle struck a mailbox, before colliding with a concrete culvert and side swiping several trees.
 
Thompson was taken to Lourdes for minor non-life threatening injuries.
 
McCracken County Sheriff’s Department was assisted on scene by Mercy Regional Ambulance Service, Hendron Fire Department and Randy’s Towing.
