Single-Vehicle Accident on Old Hinkleville Road

Accident Injuries 01 300PADUCAH, Ky. (8/28/13) – On August 28th, 2013 at approximately 12:55 AM, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a single-vehicle accident on Old Hinkleville Road at Buchannan Road.
 
Investigation revealed that Christopher J. Loggains, 40 years of age, of Sheridan Arkansas, was operating a 2012 Dodge Avenger southbound on Old Hinkleville Road when he failed to stop at the intersection of Buchannan Road. The vehicle crossed Buchannan Road, left the roadway and struck an earth embankment.
 
Loggains was transported by Mercy Regional EMS to Lourdes Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
 
Further investigation revealed that Loggains was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision. Due to his injuries, Loggains was cited to court and released for medical treatment
 
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department was assisted on scene by The Concord Fire Department, Mercy Regional EMS, and Randy’s Wrecker Service.
