Two Juveniles Charged in Lone Oak Burglary

BURGLARY GREEN 300McCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (9/2/13) – On September 2, 2013 at approximately 4:35 a.m., the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department was advised of an alarm activation at The Lone Oak Superway at 3209 Lone Oak Road. Upon arrival Deputies determined that unknown person(s) had thrown a large rock through the front door and made entry into the store.
 
A review of the store’s security footage showed one male juvenile throw the rock through door, and another male juvenile entered through the front door and then exited the store with cigarettes and soft-drinks.
 
The juvenile males were identified from the security footage and later found walking in the 5300 block of Clinton Road. The two males, both 13 years of age, admitted to breaking into the Superway. Merchandise taken from the store was found on their person.
 
Both male juveniles were charged with 3rd Degree Burglary and released to the custody of their parents with a court date pending.
 
Burglary 3rd Degree is a Class-D Felony.
