PADUCAH, KY (9/23/13) – On Friday September 20th detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at 1850 Powers Road in McCracken County. Detectives arrested a Mayfield woman at the residence for drug related offenses and are still searching for another man.
On April 8th, 2013 deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department responded to a burglary complaint on Milliken Road in McCracken County. It was determined that someone had made entry into a garage on the property and stolen a 2011 Kawasaki ZX-14 sport bike, four spools of copper wire and additional items.
During the investigation detectives identified two individuals responsible for the burglary who are expected to be charged later this date.
Detectives determined that the stolen motorcycle had been sold to Alejandro Gonzalez. Detectives obtained a search warrant for Gonzalez’s McCracken County residence located at 1850 Powers Road. Detectives executed the search warrant at approximately 14:45 hrs on 09/20/2013. During search of residence detectives located and seized electronic storage devices that were stolen during the Milliken Road burglary. Detectives seized photographs of the stolen motorcycle from the residence. Additionally, detectives seized a quantity of Methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, MSM(a cutting agent), and several firearms.
Jamie Burks was arrested for drug related offenses while at the residence and later lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
While detectives were conducting the search, Carlos De La Paz arrived at the residence and was found in possession of a quantity of Marijuana and drug paraphernalia. De La Paz was cited and released.
Detectives have not located the stolen motorcycle or Gonzalez. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the stolen motorcycle or Gonzalez is asked to contact the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department at 270-444-5157.
