muhl boardofeducationPOWDERLY, Ky. (10/22/13) — The Muhlenberg Board of Education will have a rare 9 a.m. special called meeting Wednesday, Oct. 23.

The meeting comes as the countdown continues to the first day of work for Randy McCarty as the school system's new superintendent. The board voted 4 to 1 in August to replace former Supt. Dale Todd. Ronald H. Fentress, of Lawrenceburg, was named the interim superintendent effective on July 1.
 
McCarty will assume the position of Superintendent on Nov. 1. No mention of any action regarding McCarty's position was given as the reason for the morning meeting. The agenda below was provided by Sherri Miller of the Muhlenberg County Board of Education.

IX. Consider quotes for double stack convection oven at East Campus - Mr. Travis
X. Consider push button door upgrades at 4 schools - Mr. Travis
