Benton Eighth Graders Visit River Discovery Center

(10/29/13) — Benton Middle School eighth grade students visited the River Discovery Center, the Paducah Area Painter Alliance Gallery, and the Yeiser Art Center during a recent trip. After studying about our regional geography, economy, and history in class students visited the center to study about the impact that rivers have had on Western Kentucky. As an enhancement to their art education, they viewed the work of artist Dale Leys, an instructor and artist at MSU, and the work of many regional artist at the PAPA Gallery.
