drug arrest meth 02 300DUNMOR, Ky. (12/22/13) ― After an anonymous tip led Muhlenberg County Sheriff's deputies to the location of a suspect, the man and woman were arrested for not only manufacturing methamphetamines but also the endangerment of two children.

According to Muhlenberg County Sheriff Curtis McGehee, Deputy B.W. Dearmond went to 11 Plum Street in Dunmor in search of Timmy Anderson.

After arriving at the residence, Dearmond and fellow officers discovered Anderson hiding in the attic with a methamphetamine lab.

Anderson was charged with fourth-degree controlled substance endangerment to a child, tampering with physical evidence, manufacturing methamphetamines, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

Also in the residence, Melissa Harper, was charged with fourth-degree controlled substance endangerment to a child, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense.

The children were removed from the home and placed in the care of Social Services.

Anderson and Harper are being lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.

Deputy Pat Putnam, Kentucky State Police Troopers Jon McGehee, Jacob Fortney and Curtis Crick, officers from the Logan County Sheriff's Office, Pennyrile Narcotic Task Force Detective Troy Gibson, Muhlenberg Sheriff Curtis McGehee, Social Services and the Dunmor Fire Department assisted with the incident.
