McCracken County Public Library Hosts Winter Book Sale

mccracken co library 300MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (1/17/14) — The McCracken Public Library are keeping its bookshelves stocked during the last few weeks of winter with the Winter Book Sale.

Friends from the library will be in the St. Paul Lutheran Church gymnasium from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17 and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 at 21st Street and Kentucky Avenue.

Shoppers have the chance to choose from 15,000 books, CDs and DVDs. Most items will start at $1 and the sale will include collectible books priced well below market price.

A special preview sale for members of the Friends of the Library Group will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17.

New members can register at the door and keep up with all the latest news and events at the library.

St. Paul Lutheran Church will also be hosting a bake sale during the Winter Book Sale.
