drugarrest 300 cPADUCAH, Ky. (2/28/14) - McCracken County Sheriff’s Department deputies received a call in reference to a female passed out in her running vehicle at the intersection of Clinton Road and County Line Road at approximately 2:30 p.m. Feb. 27.

Upon arrival, deputies observed the Amber Isom, 36, of Graves County slumped over the steering wheel and made contact with her. The vehicle, a 99 GMC SUV, had its engine running and Isom’s foot was still on the brake. The vehicle was made safe and a Standard Field Sobriety Test was given for suspicion of DUI, according to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office.

Isom was taken into custody for DUI second offense. Upon searching Isom, deputies located does of Hydrocodone (Lortab), Diazepam (Valium), Tramadol, Nabumetome, and Lidocaine patches. She stated to deputies that she purchased the pills from another female and paid her with cash. She was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol second offense, failure to notify DOT of address change, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, trafficking in a controlled substance, illegal possession of a legend drug, prescription not in proper container, and trafficking in legend drug.
