WKCTC Chorus Presents Its Annual Spring POPS Concert

pops-concertPADUCAH, Ky. (5/1/14) — The West Kentucky Community & Technical College Community Chorus gives its annual Spring Pops Concert a new look Sunday May 4, 3 p.m.

The concert will take place in the WKCTC Clemens Fine Arts Center.

The performance is staged on platforms and chairs giving the impression of a "musical still life" until populated by the singers. The updated stage design allows the singers to remain on stage for the entire performance.

This year's guest artists include Dr. Pamela Wurgler, Jim Patton and WKCTC student Logan Blackman. The repertoire includes musical theatre pieces, old time spirituals and traditional selections. The chorus is directed by Norman Wurgler and accompanied by Jim Patton.

The concert is free and open to the public.
