Baptist Health Paducah Welcomes Two New Physicians to its Medical Staff

Baptist Health Paducah 300PADUCAH, Ky. (7/17/14) — Cardiologist Brian Lea, MD, and hematologist/oncologist Yashpal Modi, MD, will join the medical staff at Baptist Health Paducah Aug. 1.

They join a medical staff of approximately 265 physicians, representing 43 medical specialties.

Dr. Lea joins the Baptist Heart Group in Doctors Office Building 1, Suite 301, Baptist Health Paducah, 2601 Kentucky Ave., Paducah, Ky. 42003. The office phone is (270) 575-3113.

He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, where he completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiovascular disease. Dr. Lea is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Modi joins Charles Winkler, MD, at Baptist Health Cancer Care & Blood Disorders, 100 Kiana Court, Paducah, Ky. 42002. The office phone is (270) 554-0011.

He is a graduate of Smt. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. He completed his residency and fellowship at Seton Hall University, where he earned the honor of chief fellow. Dr. Modi is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
