MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (7/18/14) — On July 17, 2014 at approximately 8:55 p.m., deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department responded to the intersection of Ogden Landing Road and Metropolis Lake Road for a pickup truck that had struck the building remains of Carneal Chapel.
Upon arrival, it was found that Elbert A. Harris, 83, of Goreville, Ill. was driving his 2001 Ford F-250 Pickup Truck East on Ogden Landing Road. Harris was in conversation with his passenger, James D. McKeller, 74, of Tunnel Hill Ill, as he approached the intersection of Metropolis Lake Road.
