coffeePADUCAH, Ky. (8/19/14) — Lourdes is excited to announce the opening of Coffee Beanery to the hospital.

Coffee Beanery opened its first stores in the United States in 1976 to provide exceptional coffee in a warm relaxing environment.

Today, Coffee Beanery has over 100 locations throughout the United States, 20 locations internationally, and is recognized as an industry leader for its unique family business approach, corporate culture and commitment to quality.

Coffee Beanery will be located in the same convenient space currently occupied by Starbucks. Starbucks made the decision not to renew its licensing agreement with the hospital and will close Sept. 22.

Their decision was not based on performance but part of their larger corporate strategy. The Lourdes employees who work at the hospital Starbucks will remain with Lourdes and work at the new Coffee Beanery.

There will be a grand opening in October with free Coffee Beanery samples.
