Two Home Burglaries Believed to Be Related

robber outdoorPADUCAH, Ky. (3/27/13) – On March 22, 2013, Edward Bess reported a burglary to his home, located at 2450 Eich Road in McCracken County. Bess stated after returning home from being out of town, he discovered his home had been forcibly entered and several items were stolen. According to Bess, the burglary occurred between March 21st and 22nd. Bess reported knives, watches, power tools and other miscellaneous items had been taken.
 
On March 25th, Donald Burkeen reported a burglary to his home, which is located on the same property behind Bess’ home. Burkeen reported after being away from his home for a few days, he discovered his home had been forcibly entered and several items were stolen. Burkeen stated a flat screen television, power tools and other miscellaneous items were taken.
 
If anyone has information regarding these crimes, please contact the McCracken County Sheriff's Department at 444-4719, or contact Crimestoppers at 443-TELL. Anyone with information leading to the arrest and/or conviction may be eligible for a reward up to $1000.
