JSMC LOGO2 SQUARESHOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (5/1/13) – For National Volunteer Week last week, Jennie Stuart Medical Center commended nine volunteers for service milestones:
 
• Sarah Lewis, 35 years of service.
• Marie Meece, 30 years.
• Rebecca Noel, 20 years.
• Robert Roach, 15 years.
• Wayne Clark and Larry Radford, 10 years.
• Nannie Croney, Roger Jeffers and Betty Pyle, five years.
 
Volunteers greet patients in the Emergency Department, transport and escort patients within the hospital, deliver flowers and mail, staff the gift shop and perform other duties. Volunteers range in age from 30 and up. For more information about joining the JSMC volunteer group, call (800) 877-JSMC, ext. 1287.
 
JSMC is a private, not-for-profit health organization that includes an acute-care medical center; free-standing outpatient surgery, medical imaging, laboratory, rehabilitation, occupational health and home health services; and an integrated physician network.
