DRIFTS UP TO A FOOT AND A HALF HAVE ALSO BEEN REPORTED. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION AND TRAVEL SHOULD BE AVOIDED IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. (National Weather Service)

Owensboro Seal 01 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (4/3/13) – As part of downtown development, the City of Owensboro plans to shift the following streets from one-way to two-way starting Monday, April 8. Prior to this date, Owensboro Municipal Utilities and the City Street Department will be working in around the area. Detours will be appropriately marked. Please proceed with caution in these areas.

- Locust Street from Second Street to Fifth Street;
- Walnut Street from Second Street to Fifth Street.
