WBKR/Poole’s Pharmacy Care St. Jude Radiothon is Huge Success

pooles stjude 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (4/4/13) – Poole’s Pharmacy issued the following statement on their recent St. Jude Radiothon:

“Poole’s Pharmacy Care recently sponsored and participated in their 7th WBKR/ Poole’s Pharmacy Care St. Jude Radiothon. In 2007 the Radiothon which encompasses the entire Owensboro Region raised just over $35,000 for St. Jude. The 2013 St. Jude Radiothon raised over a whopping $155,000. Poole’s Pharmacy Care themselves have contributed over $30,000 to the St. Jude Radiothon since 2007. One very proud moment in this year’s Radiothon was the Owners of Poole’s Pharmacy Care, Ron and Lisa Poole’s daughter, Allie, raised over $1100 this year with her self-created non-profit organization “Cupcakes for Childhood Cancer”. The owners of Poole’s Pharmacy Care and its staff are proud to be affiliated and sponsors of the great event each year. We also want to express our thanks to our friends at WBKR and thanks to all of those listeners who contributed to St. Jude.”
