mem day hours2OWENSBORO, Ky. (5/20/13) – Owensboro City Hall and transit services will be closed on Memorial Day, May 27. Trash won’t be collected on Monday, May 27. All routes will be delayed one day, with Friday routes being collected on Saturday.

For continued quality sanitation service at low rates, residents are asked to have their cart(s) out by 6:00 AM. Cart lids must be closed with all trash contained inside the cart. Additionally, do not block cart with vehicles, poles, etc., and be sure the cart lid opens toward the street.
