Henderson Man Injured in Motorcycle Accident

motorcycle crash 300HENDERSON, Ky. (4/10/13) – A Henderson man was hurt in a single-vehicle motorcycle accident at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9. Henderson Police said Caleb Dance, 21, apparently left the intersection of U.S. 41 South and Airline Road traveling north. Dance took the Henderson exit which leads to 2nd Street/KY 351 (across from North Middle School). Dance lost control of his Suzuki 600 motorcycle and struck the guardrail. Dance and the motorcycle then slid across the road striking the concrete curbing of the bridge/overpass. Dance sustained serious injuries and was transported to Methodist Hospital and was later transferred to St. Mary's in Evansville.

Dance was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. The Henderson Police Department, with assistance from the Henderson County Sheriff's Office, is currently reconstructing the accident.
