PADUCAH, KY (1/6/12) – On Thursday, January 5, 2011, at around 4:05 PM, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Dept. was dispatched to the scene of an accident on HWY 60 West.
Once on the scene, Sheriff’s Dept. investigators found that a pickup truck driven by 63-year-old Glen Steinbeck of Kevil, Kentucky drove off the roadway, into a ditch, and collided head-on with a concrete driveway culvert.
The collision occurred in the ditch located in front of 12325 U S Highway 60 West.
Steinbeck was transported by Mercy EMS to Lourdes Hospital for treatment of his injuries. While receiving treatment at the hospital, Steinbeck was cited for operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
Members of the West McCracken Fire Department assisted at the scene.
