Woman Found Deceased Inside Hopkinsville Apartment

breakingnews1HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (7/31/13) – On July 30, at approximately 7:00 PM, the Hopkinsville Police were dispatched to 45-E Pennyrile Village Apartment Compled in response to a 911 call.
 
When police arrived on the scene, they found 53-year-old Faye Springfield-Wadlington, of Hopkinsville, on the floor inside the apartment. Wadlington was deceased at the time of arrival. Police officials have stated that Wadlington did have external injuries, but at this time the actual cause of death has not been determined.
 
An autopsy is scheduled for today at the Western Kentucky Forensic Center in Madisonville in hopes of determining a cause of death.
 
Anyone with information about this homicide is urged to contact the Hopkinsville Police Department Detective Division at 270-890-1500 or Hopkinsville-Christian County Crime Stoppers at 270-887-TIPS.
