Baptist Health Paducah Stroke Support Group

3 to 4:30 p.m., Monday, Mar. 3, Baptist Heart Center conference room. The group provides support for stroke survivors and their caregivers, family and friends. Light refreshments are served.

Baptist Health Paducah Prepared Childbirth Classes

5 to 7 p.m., Monday, Mar. 3 and 10, or 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Mar. 1, Meeting Room A, Doctors Office Building 2, Baptist Health Paducah. Free class designed to help expectant parents in their second or third trimester learn about the labor and delivery process.

Incredible Colon Exhibit

9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, Mar. 4, Atrium of Doctors Office Building 2, Baptist Heath Paducah. This informative exhibit features a 20-foot long, 10-foot tall replica of the human colon. See examples of healthy colon tissue, several non-cancerous diseases of the colon and stages of colorectal cancer.

‘Kick Up Your Heels’ Foundation Luncheon and Fashion Show

10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, Mar. 6, Baptist Heart Center Auditorium, Baptist Health Paducah. Tickets are $30. Fashion show by Nola’s Boutique, vendors and a panelist discussion on the region’s only Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Diabetes Classes

1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, Mar. 10, and Wednesday, Mar. 12, Atrium Classroom, Doctors Office Building 2, Baptist Health Paducah. Free class with a certified diabetes instructor to assist with any question or concerns about diabetes.

11 a.m., Wednesday, Mar. 12, at Concord Christian Center, Paducah; 9 a.m., Thursday, Mar. 13, Lyon County Convention Center, Eddyville: 9 a.m., Tuesday, Mar. 25, Third Baptist Church, Marion, Ill.; 9 a.m., Wednesday, Mar. 26, American Legion Post #645, Herrin, Ill.

Baptist Health Paducah and Life Line Screening are partnering to find vascular disease and other conditions so they can be treated before they become life-threatening. Screenings are priced individually or in a package. Use code PBHP-001 at (877) 237-1383 or Angie Kinsey plus a disease complete a risk assessment, for $209 or the stroke and vascular package for $139.
 
Relaxing from Within

5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Mar. 13, Atrium Classroom, Doctors Office Building 2, Baptist Health Paducah. Free class designed to help expectant mothers become familiar with relaxation techniques. Participants are asked to bring a blanket, pillow and support person.

Breastfeeding Classes

6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday, Mar. 24, Atrium Classroom, Doctors Office Building 2, Baptist Health Paducah. Free class helps prepare expectant mothers for the breastfeeding experience.
